Where do you ship?
We ship to the US, Canada, Australia and Japan. We can’t ship to Central America, South America, Africa, the Middle East and any Asian country except Japan.

In general we provide a ‘importation and pre-paid tax included’ package for all countries belonging to the EU customs area (Europe islands such as Sicily, Sardinia, Canary and Balearic island excluded). Please note that with the ‘pre-paid tax’ package wait time will be considerably longer. Check the dedicated websites for the actual wait time for Europe.
What's your shipping time?
Your doll will be delivered approximately 25-60 days after we receive the payment. Wait times vary depending on brand, doll size, options requested and time of the year (orders placed shortly before Chinese New Year require an extra two weeks wait time). For specific wait times please check dolls’ product pages or ask us direct.
Generally we need 10-35 days for production and 7-14 days for transportation. Dolls are shipped via air.

Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping is always free.
What shipping companies do you use?
We use mainly Fedex and UPS to ship orders. Dolls up to 100cm (3’3 ft) are generally delivered in the USA either through UPS or EMS. Dolls above 3’3 ft through UPS or Fedex. Please note that the choice of the carrier is made exclusively by the manufacturer of the doll. The Silver Doll can’t request a specific carrier on a specific order.
Can I pick up my package at UPS/Fedex nearest office?
Certainly. Dolls above 3’3 ft are shipped through UPS and at times Fedex. Please get in touch before placing your order if you need to know who the carrier is.
If your carrier is UPS you can request delivery at your address as well as at the nearest UPS location for pickup. Please leave a note in the ‘note field’ of your order if you wish to take advantage of this special shipping arrangement. You can also choose a specific UPS location for pickup. Please visit https://www.ups.com/dropoff/?loc=en_US for a full list of UPS locations.
Important: if you’d like to choose the pick up location yourself please preferably choose a UPS Customer Center or Store (no drop box locations).
If your carrier is Fedex the same as UPS applies. Find here http://www.fedex.com/locate/ the list of Fedex offices for you to choose one for your delivery. Please check that the ‘hold at location’ service is offered in ‘Services’.
Can I schedule a delivery time?
Yes you can. If your carrier is UPS please sign up to https://www.ups.com/us/en/services/tracking/mychoice.page to schedule a delivery time, request a vacation hold or change delivery address. UPS might charge you a small fee for this service. Please note that The Silver Doll cannot arrange a scheduled delivery on the customer’s behalf.
If your carrier is Fedex, you can also request a delivery on appointment. In order to request this you need sign up to Fedex Delivery Manager. There might be a small charge for setting up an appointment.
If you happen not be able to receive the package for an extended period of time (for example because you’re away on holiday) please let us know about this period when you place the order. We will make sure the item is delivered to you before or after your time of absence.
Is a signature required on delivery?
Normally yes. The carrier should require a signature (not necessarily the signature of the receiver though). There can be exceptions though. Currently (January 2023) both Fedex and UPS often deliver without asking for a receiver signature. Technically speaking this is called ‘driver release’. The driver might leave the package at the front door or in another location of the delivery address. The Silver Doll strongly recommends customers to sign up to the SMS delivery notification services offered by Fedex and UPS. A SMS message will be sent out to the receiver when the package is delivered.
Can you deliver to a PO BOX?
Unfortunately our carriers don’t deliver to PO BOXes.
Is the package discreet?
Absolutely. Your doll will be delivered in a plain brown box. No markings indicate the content inside, the name of our company doesn’t appear either. Your doll will be labelled “mannequin” for custom clearance.
Can I track the shipping?
Sure. Once the doll is shipped we send you the package’s tracking number.
My tracking shows an incorrect package weight. Should I worry?
You’ve received your tracking and it shows that your package weighs 20 kg. However your doll weighs 35 kg. Don’t worry, our carriers always show a random package weight in their trackings. There’s no way to know why, what matters is that you shouldn’t worry. Your package contains the doll that you’ve ordered. Guaranteed.
Is your packaging secure?
Definitely. Your doll is packaged in a reinforced, double-walled carton box meant to withstand the different hazards that come with shipping. Inside the box a combination of textile and plastic materials ensure cushioning and absence of movement. So far we never had any occurrence of damage during transportation.
